History Lesson

So I caught up with some Swedish badassery last night. That's right my sexxies (you the reader) I got my ass handed to me by Sabaton. Ok, in all honesty, I didn't rock out too hard, I took it easy, no mosh pits for me. I just chilled and enjoyed watching everyone else rock their asses off. It was like a history lesson, delivered in metal. Take the song Cliffs of Gallipoli, which has a special significance to Australians. Great show! The openers, Eyefear and Black Majesty, both whom I have seen before, also kicked ass. Lots of asses, lots of kicking. Oh, and to the dude dressed as a WWI ANZAC soldier: your uniform kicked butt!

Much awesomeness...

I saw Blind Guardian (from Germany) last night with two Australian acts, Eyefear and Black Majesty at Billboard. The show was amazing. I also caught up with some friends. Much fun. MORRRRRRRRDORRRRRRRRRRRRRRR MORDDDDDDDDOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRR!

Ohhh yea, pics or it didn't happen right? (This doesn't do it justice but still). Also, the process of ticket acrual is unusual. For those who have print-out tickets, myself included in that subset, we give away our entire ticket upon entry into the venue. After the show, tickets (as seen here) are provided for free! That way, if you are plastered out of your mind, you still can remember where you went.
